Orange Glazed Salmon

This easy salmon recipe is full of flavor. Who would’ve thought salmon with orange could go together so incredibly well? These crispy orange glazed salmon fillets are pan-fried in beautiful orange and honey sauce.

Orange Glazed Salmon

  • 1/2 cup pulp free orange juice
  • 1/2 cup honey or lightly packed brown sugar
  • 4 fillets wild caught salmon (skin off or on)
  • 1-2 small garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 tsp salt or to taste
  • 3/4 tsp pepper or to taste
  • 2 to 3 pieces thinly sliced of orange


  • Melt butter in a cast iron skillet or any pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring and swirling pan occasionally for about 3 minutes, or until the foam settles; the butter begins to change in color to golden brown.
  • Pour in the honey or sugar and let it dissolve into the butter. Then add in the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  • Add in the orange juice and stir well to combine all of the flavors together.
  • Add the salmon fillets in the pan; cook each side of the fillet for 3-4 minutes or until golden. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Add orange wedges around the salmon and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • To serve, drizzle with the reserved sauce. Serve with steamed vegetables; over rice or with a salad.
