Garlic Oregano Vinaigrette

This tangy garlicky vinaigrette with lots of oregano is the perfect dressing for any salad. You can use this vinaigrette on a grilled vegetable, tuna salad, seafood, hard-cooked eggs, rice salad, and cherry tomatoes.

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice 1-2 lemon
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


  • Combine all ingredients in a jar. Shake it well until all the ingredients fully incorporate.
    Make Ahead Tip: Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days; bring to room temperature before serving.


To get the most flavor out of this dressing recipe, rub the dried oregano between your fingers before whisking with the remaining ingredients.
