Date Energy Bites

This recipe is great for snacks, pre-workout, and a healthy option for go-to breakfast.

  • Food Processor


  • 2 cup pitted dates (soaked in 1/4 cup of warm water, this will help the dates to blend easily)
  • 1 cup raw nuts (cashew, almonds, walnuts, pecans, etc)
  • 1/4 cup raw cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp pink salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 tbsp water (to make a smooth paste)

Topping options:

  • Raw cocoa powder
  • Crushed nuts
  • Coconut flakes


  • Add the nuts of your choice to the food processor and blend it. Then add the dates and rest of the ingredients to make a smooth paste. Add the water as needed.
  • Scoop the dough from the food processor with your hand or cookie scoop, and form it into small balls with your hands.
  • When all the date balls are rolled, coat each ball with a topping of your choice. (crushed nuts, coconut flasks, cocoa powder).
  • Place the date balls into a storage container and store it in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
