Spicy Hot Chocolate

This hot chocolate is made with melting dark chocolate, infused with red chili and cinnamon. It is a perfect warm drink on a cold chilly night or rainy day.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz dark chocolate (about 1/2 cup chopped)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 dried red chili
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/2 cup milk
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, mix all the ingredients and cook it for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove and discard the red chili and cinnamon stick. Pour it into a mug and top it with whipped cream or marshmallow

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use almond milk or cashew milk.
Want it to be sugar-free? Replace sugar with maple syrup or honey.
